Scientific method:--
The systematic, systematic and rational method adopted by scientists for research work is called scientific method.
The scientific method has the following five steps:-
1. Sequential observation.
2. Establishment of the hypothesis.
3. Testing the veracity of the hypothesis.
4. Establishment of theory and.
5. Establishment of rules.
1. Sequential observation :-
To solve a problem, first of all, scientists do well-planned experiments and collect data related to that problem by taking systematic observations.
2. Establishment of the hypothesis :-
A working rule is made to explain the data obtained from experiments, which is called hypothesis.
3. Testing the veracity of the hypothesis :-
Some conclusions are drawn on the basis of suitable hypothesis. From which some predictions are made and others verify them by doing new experiments.
4. Establishment of Principle :-
If the conclusions and predictions are verified by experiments, then that hypothesis is given the form of a theory, otherwise the theory is made by modifying that hypothesis or establishing a completely new hypothesis. In this way, the hypothesis verified by experiments is theorized.
5. Establishment of Rules :-
A well established theory is true only for a limited number of events, observations and facts. Now if it is found that the theory so propounded is true for all events, observations and facts, then it gives the form of a rule, otherwise by modifying the theory or establishing a new principle and testing its truth, the rule is given. are installed.
